Back in the U...oops... not so much....

Well, for about a whole five seconds a few of us were back in the good old US of A. I know we did not update this webpage, but we lost communications due to the whole bombings going on, and we actually got a lot of grief from a few individuals, whom shall remain nameless. Mickel returned home shortly afterwards along with Jay. Brandon and Scotty and I stayed for the long hall. Which was not going to be for that much longer.

At least not for me. About a week later I met Liam. We set off to Nepal to live and learn with the monks while Scotty and Brandon remained in Lebanon.

Now it is almost September and well... well, things surely have changed. Nepal was awesome! Can I just say that studying with the monks and then teaching them English was very cool. And watching and listening to Liam try and teach the monks how to speak English, even though he only speaks half English and mostly Cockney, was hilarious! I can't even understand most of what he says... I think the monks mainly nodded their heads and smiled, much like I did when I first met him.

Nepal was exactly what I needed after visiting the war stricken areas of Baghdad and Lebanon. But having Liam ask me to move in with him also helped out. I never thought I was the type of girl that would fall for the guy with the accent, but I have to admit, it is a major turn on, and it is easier to just tune him out if I am angry at him.

He has been living in Canada for the last few years, but I'm not Canadian and doubt I can get any type of visa. So we found a great little home just off the coast of the San Juan Islands/Victoria.

Isn't it darling?! Ocean front property and it is all ours!!! Plus this way he can still keep his clients and jobs up in BC and I can find a job down in the US until I am able to obtain Canadian citizenship.

So, all in all I think this was a successful trip. I will write more about Baghdad and Lebanon as I do have quite a few diary entries, I just need to go through, edit and actually write everything up. I also have a whole bunch of picures to upload... oh wow are they good too! As for Scotty and Brandon... last I heard, Brandon was headed down to South Africa for a little surfing and Scotty was headed back to New York to party it up with some friends before heading out for another photo shoot.
